About Us

Purpose

The purpose of Deep & Wide is simply to encourage followers of Jesus Christ and seekers of spiritual truth to learn and apply God’s truth for themselves through the wide reading and deep study of His Word, the Bible.

Who are we?

Deep & Wide Ministries was founded by Dave and Pam Gillaspie in order to encourage people in their relationship with God through His Word.

Both Dave and Pam grew up in the church, but each came to a vital relationship with God as adults as they were captured with a love for His Word, the Bible.

Dave is an Art Director and Producer at Sardis Media in Grayslake, Illinois, and serves as a media consultant at Immanuel Church in Gurnee, Illinois.

Pam is the author of three books, No More Excuses: An almost too practical guide to reading through your Bible (Armor Books, 2002), Ablaze: Igniting Spiritual Passion for Life through Reading God's Word (Green Key Books, 2006), and Sweeter than Chocolate: An Inductive Study of Psalm 119 (Precept Ministries International, 2009). Pam holds a BA in Biblical Studies from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. She is currently studying Hebrew.

The Gillaspies, their son Brad, daughter Katie, and Great Dane Abby reside in suburban Chicago.
