2025년 봄학기 DW MK School 종강예배 드려

DW MK School은 지난 2025년 3월부터 진행된 봄학기를 마무리하며, 5월 31일(토) 온라인으로 종강예배를 드렸다. 이번 학기에도 5명의 미국 원어민 교사들이 각국의 현장 사역지에 있는 자녀들을 위해 매주 1시간 30분씩 영어 교육과 더불어 예배와 찬양, 멘토링을 병행하며 수업을 진행하였다.

이날 예배에서 성보영 목사(Deep and Wide Foundation 대표)는 창세기 12장 1~3절 말씀을 본문으로 삼아 “I Will Be a Blessing”이라는 제목으로 말씀을 전했다. 그는 “하나님께 부름 받은 자녀들이 세상 속에서 축복의 통로로 살아가길 축복한다”며, MK 학생들이 지금의 환경과 상황 속에서 하나님의 축복으로 자라가길 격려했다.

예배 후에는 Character Award 시상식이 이어졌다. 각 학생의 성품과 삶의 모습을 바탕으로, 교사들은 해당 학생에게 어울리는 성경 인물을 연결하여 맞춤형 칭찬과 격려의 메시지를 전했다. 이 시간은 학생들이 하나님께서 주신 고유한 은사와 장점을 발견하며, 스스로의 존재 가치를 깨닫는 감동적인 순간이 되었다.

학부모들은 “멀리 떨어진 사역지에서도 자녀들이 말씀과 사랑 안에서 자라갈 수 있도록 이끌어 주신 선생님들께 깊이 감사드린다”고 전하며, DW MK School의 헌신에 진심 어린 감사를 표현했다.

DW MK School은 여름 방학에 들어가며, 2025년 가을학기는 8월 말부터 개강할 예정이다.

DW MK School Concludes Spring 2025 Semester with Closing Worship Service

DW MK School concluded its Spring 2025 semester with an online closing worship service on Saturday, May 31. Throughout this semester, five native English-speaking teachers led weekly 90-minute sessions for children of field workers around the world, offering not only English education but also worship, praise, and mentoring.

During the worship service, Pastor Boyoung Seong, President of Deep and Wide Foundation, preached a message titled “I Will Be a Blessing” based on Genesis 12:1–3.

He shared a blessing over the students, saying, “May each child, called by God, live as a channel of blessing in the world,” and encouraged the MK students to grow as God's blessing even in their current environments and circumstances.

Following the message, the teachers presented a Character Award to each student, connecting a biblical figure that reflected each student's personality and character.

This meaningful time allowed the students to discover their unique gifts and strengths, and to reaffirm their God-given value and identity.

Parents expressed deep gratitude, saying, “Even from afar, our children were able to grow in the Word and love of God through the care and dedication of the teachers.” They conveyed heartfelt thanks to the DW MK School team for their faithful service.

As the school enters summer break, the Fall 2025 semester is scheduled to begin at the end of August.
