Opening Service for the DW-MK Online English School
Spring Semester 2025
The DW-MK Online English School has launched its Spring 2025 semester, continuing to connect the US and missionary fields online to offer a unique educational experience. This school brings together Christian native English-speaking teachers and missionary children to study not only English but also to share and grow in their faith.
This semester, under the leadership of Director Ms. Annie, four warm and skilled teachers will participate to provide high-quality English education along with faith-based teachings to the children of missionaries. A small change this semester is that one family among the existing students has taken a sabbatical year and returned to Korea, and their spots have been filled by two new students from nearby regions.
The DW-MK Online English School held its opening service online on Saturday, February 15, 2025. Reverend Boyoung Seong delivered a message emphasizing that "even though we cannot see a definite future, God speaks through visions and, like seeds buried in the ground, He will pour down His grace to make us flourish." This message encouraged both students and teachers to work hard and grow throughout the semester.
The semester is scheduled to continue until mid-May, with hopes that all students and teachers will grow further in God's grace. Please continue to pray for the children of the missionaries, supporting them not only academically but also spiritually as they progress through this term.

2025년 봄학기를 맞이하여, DW-MK 온라인 영어학교가 새 학기를 시작하였습니다. 이 학교는 미국과 선교지 사이의 온라인 플랫폼을 통해 원어민 선생님들과 선교사 자녀들이 함께 영어뿐만 아니라 신앙을 나누는 특별한 교육사역입니다.
이번 학기에도 디렉터 Ms. Annie의 지도 아래 따뜻하고 경험 많은 4명의 선생님이 참여하여, 선교사 자녀들에게 양질의 영어 교육과 함께 신앙 교육을 제공할 예정입니다. 작은 변화로, 기존 학생 중 한 가정이 안식년을 맞아 한국으로 돌아가게 되었고, 근처 지역의 새로운 학생들이 학교에 등록하였습니다.
2025년 2월 15일 토요일, DW-MK 온라인 영어학교는 온라인으로 개강예배를 드렸습니다. 성보영 목사님께서 예배 말씀을 통해 "우리가 확실한 미래를 눈으로 볼 수 없더라도 하나님은 비전을 통해 말씀하시고, 땅 속에 묻혀 있는 씨앗처럼 우리에게 은혜의 단비를 부어 꽃피우실 것"이라고 강조하셨습니다. 이 말씀은 학생들과 교사들 모두에게 이번 학기 동안 열심히 학습하고 성장할 것을 독려하는 메시지가 되었습니다.
이번 학기는 5월 중순까지 계속될 예정이며, 선교사 자녀들의 학문적 성장뿐만 아니라 영적 성장을 위해 지속적인 기도와 지원을 요청드립니다.
